(a) All purchases for or in behalf of the Division of Correction and its various institutions shall be in strict compliance with the state purchasing laws and applicable rules promulgated thereunder.(b) All expenditures of funds appropriated for the division shall be in accordance with the General Accounting and Budgetary Procedures Law, § 19-4-101 et seq., and other applicable fiscal laws of this state governing expenditure of state funds.(c) All sales of farm products, livestock, or other products produced in connection with the agriculture and livestock activities at the respective institutions of the division shall be in accordance with the applicable laws of this state governing the advertising for bids and awarding of contracts for the sales.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 910, eff. 7/24/2019.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 826, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1968 (1st Ex.
