Section 12-42-112 - Compensation of artisan or mechanic

If any person so convicted is an artisan or mechanic and is put to labor in any manual labor workhouse, or on any bridge or other public improvement, the artisan or mechanic shall be allowed a reasonable compensation for the labor, but the compensation shall not be paid to the artisan or mechanic.Acts 1877, No. 73, § 2, p. 73; C. & M.
