Section 14-2-101 - Recording personalty in only one district

(a) In counties within the State of Arkansas which have two (2) or more districts with two (2) or more county sites, where it is necessary to record certain written instruments affecting personal property as provided by law, the recording shall be necessary in only one (1) district of the county.(b) The written instruments affecting personal property shall be recorded or filed for record in the district where the person executing the instrument resides, and it shall not be necessary to make any additional record thereof in the same county.Acts 1941, No. 277, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 16-304.
