Section 14-169-232 - Statutory remedies of obligee

An obligee of a housing authority shall have the right, in addition to all other rights which may be conferred on the obligee, subject only to any contractual restrictions binding upon the obligee:(1) By mandamus, suit, action, or proceeding, at law or in equity, to compel the authority and its commissioners, officers, agents, or employees to:(A) Perform each and every term, provision, and covenant contained in any contract of the authority with or for the benefit of the obligee; and(B) Require the carrying out of any or all covenants and agreements of the authority and the fulfillment of all duties imposed upon the authority by this subchapter; and(2) By suit, action, or proceeding in equity, to enjoin any acts or things which may be unlawful or the violation of any of the rights of the obligee of the authority.Acts 1937, No. 298, § 17; Pope's Dig., § 10075; A.S.A. 1947, § 19-3020.
