The board of election commissioners shall provide all necessary ballots, poll books, and tally sheets for the holding of elections herein provided for and the expense thereof, and all costs of the election shall be paid by the city or town council of the city or town where such election is held from the funds of the light and water plants and sewage systems under its control.Acts 1939, No. 95, § 11; A.S.A. 1947, § 19-4011.
