Section 14-201-314 - Interest of board members in contracts unlawful - Penalty

(a) It shall be unlawful for any member of the board of public utilities to be directly or indirectly interested in any contract with the board.(b) Any member engaging in conduct constituting an offense under this section commits a Class D felony. Further, his office shall thereby become vacant, and he shall forever be ineligible as a member of any board of public utilities created under this subchapter.Acts 1939, No. 95, § 33; 1975, No. 928, § 6; A.S.A. 1947, § 19-4032.
