The term of office of the members of the board shall begin on the first Tuesday following their election, at which time they shall meet and take the oath prescribed by Arkansas Constitution, Article 19, § 20, and shall file a copy of the oath with the city clerk or recorder.Acts 1939, No. 95, § 18; A.S.A. 1947, § 19-4018.
