The board of public utilities:(1) May do and perform all things necessary to enforce the collection of the rates to be charged for the service rendered by any and all plants or sewerage systems under its jurisdiction; and(2) Shall do any and all things necessary to the successful operation and maintenance of the electric light plants, water plants, or sewerage systems.Acts 1939, No. 95, § 25; A.S.A. 1947, § 19-4025.
