(a) Municipalities proceeding under this chapter are authorized to apply to the appropriate agencies of the state, the United States or any state thereof, and to any other proper agency for such licenses, permits, certificates, or approvals as may be necessary, and to obtain, hold and use such licenses, permits, certificates, and approvals.(b) Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to require a municipality to obtain any license, certificate, permit, or approval from the Arkansas Public Service Commission not otherwise required by other laws of the State of Arkansas.Acts 1979, No. 5, § 6; A.S.A. 1947, § 19-5606.
