Section 14-269-301 - Authority for creation of commission in cities of the first and second class

Any city of the first or second class that may desire to set up a parks and recreation program for the municipality, by appropriate action of the city council, may create a commission for the purpose of operating and managing the program within the municipality.Acts 1949, No. 471, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 19-3618.
