All state and county funds made available for community, city, or town projects under the provisions of this chapter shall be audited by the Division of Legislative Audit in connection with the annual audit of each county or city or town to assure that the funds have been used for the purposes for which they were made available under the provisions of this chapter.Acts 1977, No. 736, § 3; A.S.A. 1947, § 17-1423; Acts 1991, No. 1009, § 5.
