Section 14-270-201 - Legislative intent

The General Assembly recognizes outdoor recreation as an important element to the quality of life in Arkansas. Outdoor recreation is interlocked to the emotional and economic well being of the state's citizens. Therefore, it is the desire of the General Assembly to establish a new outdoor grants program that shall assist small communities and rural areas of Arkansas with outdoor recreational facilities.Acts 1991, No. 271, § 1; 1991, No. 306, § 1.
