(a) All persons required to render services under the provisions of this chapter as viewers or reviewers, chain carriers, markers, or surveyors shall be paid reasonable costs and expenses based upon the current market rate out of the registry of the court for each day necessarily employed, and payments are to be charged as costs and expenses against a petitioner.(b) The amount due to each person and the number of days employed shall be certified under oath by the viewers or reviewers, as the case may be.(c) The county shall be reimbursed for the payment so made and for all other necessary expenses incident to the proceedings, by a petitioner, as hereinbefore provided.(d) The county clerk shall receive fees he or she may be entitled to by law, to be taxed as costs and paid as provided in this section.Acts 1871, No. 26, § 64, p. 56; C. & M.
