Section 14-14-611 - Appointment of interim officers

Where a proposed plan approved by the electors for alternative county organization provides for the creation of any elective office by consolidation of two (2) or more offices, the proposed plan shall establish procedures for the appointment of an interim officer, who shall serve in the office so created from the effective date of the plan and until the next general election, or until a successor is elected and qualified.
