Section 14-15-202 - Extension of time to take oath

Every assessor who shall have failed to take and subscribe to the oath prescribed in § 14-15-201 at the time therein stated is granted, until the time provided by law for entering upon the discharge of his or her duties, to take and subscribe to the oath prescribed in § 14-15-201, and the acts of every assessor who shall take the oath within the time granted in this section shall be as valid as if he or she had taken and subscribed to the oath at the time provided by law.Acts 1889, No. 9, § 1, p. 8; C. & M.
