Section 14-15-504 - Additional personnel for new jails

In any county in this state in which newly constructed jail facilities have been put into use since November 1, 1975, the quorum court of the county is authorized to provide additional positions for the county sheriff's office, in addition to those positions authorized in Acts 1975, No. 830 [repealed], and to prescribe the compensation and allowances for persons holding such positions.Acts 1975 (Extended Sess., 1976), No. 1172, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 12-1119.
