(a) Any county or county board may:(1) Operate a program of public recreation and playgrounds;(2) Acquire, equip, and maintain land, buildings, or other recreational facilities; and(3) Expend funds for the operation of the program pursuant to the provisions of this subchapter.(b) The provisions of this subchapter shall not apply to § 17-22-201 et seq.Acts 1941, No. 291, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 19-3601.
