Any county in this state may acquire, own, operate, and maintain an airport or flying field in that county and may make, build, and construct all improvements at the airport or flying field as may be deemed necessary for the proper operation thereof.Acts 1963, No. 188, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 74-209.
