(a) The commissioners shall, in addition to the other powers enumerated in this chapter, have such other and further powers as are by law given to the city council of any city.(b) The commissioners shall be governed by all existing statutes pertaining to the duties of city councils.Acts 1949, No. 53, § 11; A.S.A. 1947, § 74-511; Acts 1993, No. 403, § 8.
