Section 14-387-204 - Notice of filing petition

(a)(1) After the filing of the petition as provided in § 14-387-202, the county court shall make an order directing the clerk to cause notice to be given immediately of the filing of the petition.(2) The notice shall specify: (A) The class of animals it is proposed shall not run at large; and(B) If, for a subdivision of a county, the territory described in the petition.(b)(1) The notice shall be published in some newspaper published in the county, if there is one.(2)(A) If no newspaper is published in the county, the notice shall be posted at the courthouse door and at each voting precinct in the county, if the petition is for a county.(B) If the petition is for a subdivision, then the notice shall be posted at three (3) of the most public places in the subdivision.Acts 1883, No. 57, §§ 5, 6, p. 81; C. & M.
