Section 14-43-509 - Officers without prescribed terms

In cities of the first class, all city officers whose terms of office are not prescribed, and whose powers and duties are not defined in this subtitle, or by bylaw or ordinance, shall perform such duties and exercise such powers, and continue in office two (2) years, unless sooner removed for cause.Acts 1875, No. 1, § 62, p. 1; C. & M.
