(a) The corporate authority of incorporated towns shall vest in a town council composed of the five (5) council members who shall be qualified electors residing within the limits of the incorporated town and who shall hold office until their successors are elected and qualified.(b) A majority of the whole number of council members shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business.Amended by Act 2017, No. 879,§ 31, eff. 8/1/2017.Acts 1875, No. 1, § 41, p. 1; C. & M.
