Section 14-47-118 - Acting mayor

If both the mayor and assistant mayor should be absent or disabled from performing their duties, the board may designate by resolution one (1) of its members as acting mayor to serve during the absence or disability and no longer.Acts 1921, No. 99, § 8; Pope's Dig., § 10096; Acts 1957, No. 8, § 6; A.S.A. 1947, § 19-708.
