As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires: 'board', 'commission', or 'commissioners' means the board of civil service commissioners of the police and fire departments as provided for in § 14-51-201 et seq.Acts 1933, No. 28, § 16; Pope's Dig., § 9960; A.S.A. 1947, § 19-1616.
