Section 14-58-308 - Bonds of officers and employees

(a) All officers and employees of a city of the first class, city of the second class, or incorporated town handling financial matters for the city or town shall furnish a fidelity bond in such amount, on such form, and with such security as may be approved by the municipal governing body.(b) The premiums on these bonds shall be paid by the city or town.Amended by Act 2021, No. 435,§ 8, eff. 7/28/2021.Acts 1959, No. 28, § 10; A.S.A. 1947, § 19-4430.The introductory language of Act 2021, No. 435,§ 8 states that §14-58-303 is amended; however, the text of the act amends §14-28-308.
