Section 14-77-104 - Notification of violation

(a) The executive officer of the political subdivision shall notify the public officer or employee of its findings and any corrective or remedial action to be taken.(b) Notification shall be made in a manner ensuring actual notice to the public officer or employee.(c) The public officer or employee shall be notified that the failure to make corrective or remedial action within thirty (30) days after the date of notification creates the rebuttable presumption that the violation was committed knowingly.Acts 1991, No. 724, § 6.
