The purpose of this subchapter is to ensure that owners of land receive notice of the filing of suit to sell lands for nonpayment of improvement district assessments, in those instances in which the law requires the filing of such a suit, and notice of the sale of lands for nonpayment of improvement district assessments, in those instances in which the law does not require the filing of suit before such a sale.Acts 1979, No. 628, § 2; A.S.A. 1947, § 20-1157.
