The proceeds derived from the sale of those bonds or notes shall be paid to the treasurer of the district and may be used for the operation of the district in carrying out the purposes for which it was originally created and those assumed by it under the provisions of subchapter 2 of this chapter and acts amendatory thereto.Acts 1961, No. 20, § 14; A.S.A. 1947, § 21-852.
