(a) Counties and municipalities are authorized and empowered to appoint members of the authorities and counties, municipalities, and the state are authorized and empowered to contribute to the cost of acquiring, constructing, equipping, maintaining, and operating the regional intermodal facilities and appurtenant facilities.(b) Counties, municipalities, and the state are authorized and empowered to transfer and convey to the authorities property of any kind acquired by the counties, municipalities, and the state for transportation purposes.Acts 1997, No. 690, § 25.
