(a)(1) There is created the Arkansas Energy Office of the Division of Environmental Quality.(2)(A) The executive head of this office shall be the Director of the Arkansas Energy Office.(B) The Director of the Arkansas Energy Office shall be appointed by the Secretary of the Department of Energy and Environment with the advice and consent of the Governor.(b) The office shall consist of such sections as may be established by the Director of the Arkansas Energy Office, with the approval of the Director of the Division of Environmental Quality and the secretary.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 3055, eff. 7/1/2019.Amended by Act 2017, No. 271,§ 6, eff. 8/1/2017.Acts 1981, No. 7, § 3; A.S.A. 1947, § 5-938; Acts 1997, No. 540, § 35.
