Section 15-3-130 - Centers for applied technology - Definition

For the purposes of this section and §§ 15-3-131 - 15-3-134, 'center for applied technology' or 'center' means a college or university or university-affiliated unit, or a consortium of such units, which conducts a continuing program of basic research and applied research, development, and technology transfer in one (1) or more technological areas in collaboration with and through the support of private enterprises.Amended by Act 2015EX1, No. 8,§ 76, eff. 7/1/2015.Amended by Act 2015EX1, No. 7,§ 76, eff. 7/1/2015.Acts 1989, No. 803, § 4.
