Arkansas Legal Code
(a) The Arkansas Economic Development Council may serve in an advisory capacity to the Director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, the Governor, and the General Assembly.(b) A primary function of the council is to approve the issuance of guaranties of amortization payments on Act No. 9 bonds under the Industrial Revenue Bond Guaranty Law, § 15-4-601 et seq.(c) The addition or elimination of international offices of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission by the commission shall first be approved by the council.(d) By a majority vote, the council may establish or dissolve committees and subcommittees as needed.Amended by Act 2019, No. 202,§ 1, eff. 7/24/2019.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 358, eff. 7/1/2019.Amended by Act 2013, No. 1185,§ 1, eff. 8/16/2013.Acts 1955, No. 404, §§ 7, 8; 1971, No. 443, § 1; 1979, No. 65, § 4; A.S.A. 1947, §§ 9-510, 9-511.
