Section 15-5-1907 - Students - Power to contract

(a) For the purpose of this subchapter, a student who is a qualified borrower is vested with full capacity to contract and is bound by any contract executed by him or her under this subchapter.(b) The fact that the student was a minor at the time he or she executed the note shall not be a defense in any action arising on the note.Added by Act 2017, No. 824,§ 15, eff. 7/1/2017.
