(a) The provisions of this subchapter shall be cumulative of all existing statutes of this state with respect to matters governed by this subchapter and shall not be construed to repeal any statute or provision thereof.(b) However, the construction and maintenance of a dam in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter shall be lawful, and no work for the construction of a dam on any stream shall be done without a permit from the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission issued in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter.Acts 1957, No. 81, § 11; A.S.A. 1947, § 21-1311.
