Section 15-22-403 - Notice to owners of land containing abandoned or unused well

Any county judge receiving notice as provided by § 15-22-402 shall ascertain from the record of deeds the owner of the land on which is situated any abandoned artesian well, and the county judge shall notify the property owner by registered letter, with return receipt requested, of the complaint and shall apprise the owner of the provisions of this subchapter.Acts 1949, No. 478, § 2; A.S.A. 1947, § 21-1102.
