In case the tree or timber shall be so unlawfully cut from state lands, then no bond shall be required on the part of the state, but the attachment shall issue upon the filing of an affidavit of the county timber inspector, deputy, or other person authorized by the county timber inspector setting forth sufficient grounds therefor. In all other respects, the proceedings upon attachments under this subchapter shall be the same as proceedings upon attachment in any other civil action.Acts 1883, No. 83, § 6, p. 140; 1901, No. 130, § 13, p. 202; C. & M.
