Section 15-43-107 - Setting fires

(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to set a fire or cause a fire to be set in the woods or marsh lands of another, and it shall also be unlawful for any person to leave any campfire without first extinguishing the fire or to build any campfire, or other fire, in any wooded area in a manner or place where it cannot be easily extinguished.(b) Any person violating the provisions of subsection (a) of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction fined in any sum not less than ten dollars ($10.00).Acts 1943, No. 146, § 9; A.S.A. 1947, § 47-502.
