Section 15-57-203 - Notice of proposed reclamation - Investigation

(a) Any owner of such lands who wishes to make environmental or aesthetic improvements to reclaim or improve the lands, as authorized in this subchapter, shall file written notice thereof with the Division of Environmental Quality before entering upon the improvements.(b) The purpose of the notice shall be to advise the division of the proposed reclamation or improvements to be made and to enable the division to make investigations necessary to assure that the owner of the lands does not engage in activities in connection with any reclamation or improvement project that would be in violation of The Arkansas Open-Cut Land Reclamation Act, § 15-57-301 et seq.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 3071, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1983, No. 77, § 2; A.S.A. 1947, § 52-973; Acts 1999, No. 1164, § 138.
