As used in this subchapter:(1) 'Citation' means a written order or electronic ticket issued by a law enforcement officer or employee of the department of public safety of a city or incorporated town who is authorized to make an arrest, requiring a person accused of violating the law to appear in a designated court or governmental office at a specified date and time;(2) 'Court' means a district court in the State of Arkansas; and(3) 'Electronic ticket' means an electronic citation or warning printed by a law enforcement officer and issued to a person accused of violating the law.Acts 1977, No. 332, § 2; A.S.A. 1947, § 22-1102; Acts 2003, No. 1185, §§ 46, 47; 2011, No. 908, § 1.
