(a) At the 1998 general election, the qualified electors of Carroll County shall elect a person who shall serve as the prosecuting attorney for the Nineteenth Judicial District-East beginning January 1, 1999.(b) At the 1998 general election, the qualified electors of Benton County shall elect a person who shall serve as the prosecuting attorney for the Nineteenth Judicial District-West beginning January 1, 1999.Acts 1997, No. 797, § 3.
