(a)(1) Lawrence County shall have one (1) district court with four (4) departments: (A) One (1) located in Walnut Ridge;(B) One (1) located in Hoxie;(C) One (1) located in Black Rock; and(D) One (1) located in Portia.(2) All four (4) departments are to be served by one (1) judge.(b) The Lawrence County District Court Judge shall be elected countywide.(c) The Lawrence County District Court shall have countywide jurisdiction.Amended by Act 2017, No. 723,§ 1, eff. 8/1/2017.Acts 2005, No. 72, §; 5; 2007, No. 663, § 50.
