Section 16-20-406 - Receipts for papers filed with clerk of circuit court

Whenever the clerk of the county and probate court shall deliver to the clerk of the circuit court any original papers, he shall take a receipt therefor and file the receipt in place of the papers.Civil Code, § 22; C. & M. Dig., § 2235; Pope's Dig., § 2863; A.S.A. 1947, § 23-411.
