Section 16-21-157 - State employment and assignment of positions

(a) Deputy prosecuting attorneys are state employees.(b) The Prosecution Coordination Commission shall assist in the maintenance of a system which equitably serves all areas of the state by providing quality deputy prosecuting attorneys.Amended by Act 2021, No. 475,§ 18, eff. 7/28/2021.Amended by Act 2019, No. 715,§ 3, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1999, No. 1044, § 11.
