Section 16-43-103 - Unlawful arrest - Abatement of suit - Fine

Any person who causes a witness to be arrested, knowing him to be in attendance as such upon a subpoena, shall have his suit abated and shall be fined at the discretion of the court from which the subpoena issued, in any sum not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100).Rev.
