A witness subpoenaed to attend before any circuit court in more than one (1) criminal case at the same time shall be allowed pay, when the costs are paid by the county, in only one (1) case and only for the actual number of days he or she is in attendance, regardless of the number of cases in which he or she is summoned or called upon to testify.Acts 1875, No. 77, § 40, p. 167; C. & M.
