Section 16-43-409 - Effective date

Whereas, under the present statutes of the State of Arkansas there is no adequate remedy whereby the attendance of witnesses from without the state may be enforced, and whereas, it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the peace of the State of Arkansas that adequate means be provided whereby the attendance of witnesses from without the state may be had, an emergency is hereby declared and this subchapter shall become operative and in effect and be in force from and after its passage.Acts 1935, No. 65, § 7; A.S.A. 1947, § 43-2009n.
