All deeds, conveyances, deeds of trust, mortgages, mineral leases, marriage contracts, and other instruments in writing, affecting or purporting to affect title to any real estate or personal property situated in this state, which have been recorded or executed prior to July 19, 1971, and which may be defective or ineffectual because of the failure to have the authentication formerly required by Acts 1943, No. 169, §§ 9 and 10, prior to these amendments, shall be binding and effectual as though such instruments contained the required authentication.Acts 1971, No. 365, § 3; A.S.A. 1947, § 49-110.1.
