Section 16-90-121 - Second or subsequent felony with firearm

Any person who is found guilty of or pleads guilty or nolo contendere to a second or subsequent felony involving the use of a firearm shall be sentenced to a minimum term of imprisonment of ten (10) years in the Division of Correction without eligibility of parole or community correction transfer but subject to reduction by meritorious good-time credit or earned release credits.Amended by Act 2023, No. 659,§ 126, eff. 1/1/2024.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 862, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1981, No. 583, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 43-2336.1; Acts 2001, No. 1783, § 1.
