Section 16-90-1106 - Prompt return of property

(a) Any person holding property of a victim shall take reasonable care of the property.(b) The responsible official shall promptly return the property to the victim when it is no longer needed for evidentiary purposes, unless it is contraband or subject to forfeiture.Acts 1997, No. 1262, § 5.
