Section 16-93-1602 - Definitions

As used in this subchapter:(1) 'Applicant' means any individual, business, or organization that has applied to receive an Arkansas transitional housing facility license;(2) 'License' means an Arkansas transitional housing facility license; and(3)(A) 'Transitional housing' means a program that provides housing for one (1) or more offenders who either have been transferred or paroled from the Division of Correction by the Post-Prison Transfer Board or placed on probation by a circuit court or district court.(B) An offender's home or the residence of an offender's family member shall not be considered a transitional housing facility as used in this subchapter.Amended by Act 2023, No. 659,§ 232, eff. 1/1/2024.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 946, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 2005, No. 1378, § 2.
